This ranks as one of my favorite Americanized Chinese dishes, right up there along with General Tso's chicken and Mongolian beef. From what I can gather, it's just fried chicken smothered with some sauce and sprinkled with sesame seeds and then mixed in with some broccoli. The aforementioned sauce is saturated with sweetness so make sure to have a drink handy.
Although I don't mind eating most food as leftovers, this is a dish that's much better fresh. If you wait too long, the crispy breading will get mushy and the chicken will begin clumping with each other. Still, you get a large amount of food for a reasonable price, so don't fret if you can't finish it in a single sitting.

I feel like there is virtually no difference between the americanized chinese dishes called general tsos chicken, orange chicken, and sesame chicken. Even sweet and sour chicken turns out this way at american chinese places because they dump so much of that sweet red sauce on it. They are all artificially colored red and cloyingly sweet, but all pretty damned tasty!
yea, i was thinking the same. general tso's seems a *tad* spicier, sesame chicken has sesame seeds, and orange chicken is *slightly* sweeter. that's the conclusion i came up with.
I like sesame chicken! I thought it was orange chicken at first.
